Holiday Cottage Information

All electricity, linen, towels and firewood are included in the rental.
Mews cottage has flat screen digital televisions (Freeview), DVD players, iPod dock, hairdryers, books and games.
A well-equipped kitchen with toaster, kettle, hob, oven, dishwasher, iron, fridge, washer/drier.
There is outdoor furniture during the summer season
A wood burning stove in the living room which provides central heating.
A welcome tray with home-made biscuits greets your arrival and toiletries are in the bathroom.
A ‘Bowland’ directory of important information about the cottage and local places to eat, see and enjoy is in the cottage.
High chairs and cots are available at no charge; these must be booked in advance. Cot linen is NOT included.
Mobile phone coverage is patchy.
Wi-Fi and Broadband are available.
Wines and Spirits - We have a personal license and offer a broad selection of wines and champagnes from our local award winning wine merchant.
As part of our commitment to the Green Tourism Business Scheme we manage the cottage in the most environmentaly way possible for details see our green tourism page.
SMOKING is not allowed in the cottage..

Local Information

Supermarkets. Clitheroe - Booths ( who try to source many of their products locally) and a Sainsbury's and Tesco.

Local Food - Butchers and village shop in Chipping. Clitheroe and Longridge both have a good range of independent shops including the award winning Cowmans sausage shop. Close by is Bowland Wildboar Park (a fellow Green Tourism Business) where you can by Wild Boar meat to try. Also close by is Leagram Organic Dairy which has been featured on BBC Countryfile.
